So I had a really great weekend and here is my blog entry about it.
Thursday - I went to dinner at Durango's with Carmela and we visited Amanda. Then we went and chilled at her house and went to Target.
Friday - I went to run errands with Leah and Nicole while they were packing for Paris! Fredy and Chris came into town and Sam Burns organized a last minute dinner with them but I couldn't because I had plans with Kelly. Kelly and I decided to chill and went to dinner at Chili's, like we always do. Amadea was our waitress and she always takes care of us. Then we made a stop at Target and then drove around for forever which is always fun. Then we decided to make a suprise appearance at the bowling alley where Fredy, Chris, and some of the MLR kids were after their dinner.
Saturday - Fredy and Chris kidnapped me and we went to get my present for Kelly. After a stop at PetSmart and Target, I went home and layed around. Alexis called me and invited me to P.F. Changs at the last minute but it was all good. After dinner, I went to have some Starbucks with Carmela.
Sunday (Yesterday) - Johnny threw a little bbq at his house for the MLR folk but unfortunately not many people were able to make it. It was still a good time b/c Fredy and Chris were there. Then I went to drive around before I met everyone for Kelly's birthday dinner at Cody's - Fredy, Chris, Me, Kelly, Ally, Kristin, and Alicia. It was a lot of fun! Then we went over to Ally's for a little suprise cake party that she threw Kelly.
Monday (Today) - I am just chillin around my house until I go hang with Amber tonight. I have not seen Amber is forever and we are going to have fun!!! I think I might go apply at this job I have been thinking about for a while.

So tonight I realize how happy I am that I am living here in Tampa Bay. I know that probably in a few weeks I will fricken complain because I am hating it for some reason. I'm happy being here because well, I am just in my place for this moment - which is key. This moment aka I am moving to NYC in 5 years - no joke.
Kelly knows what I am talking about.

There is so much to say, here is my mega-update. It's all about what's up and coming!
I won! - elections.
I am now the new vice president of the Spanish Honor Society and now a student government association class representative for the senior class! I am so happy that I am on these offices and am really pumped to do some great things! I am always open to ideas, so let me know! I want it to be ya'll best year!
OLR - here I come!
I am so pumped to say that I will be going back to be a leader on the young team for the 2006 Salesian October Leadership Retreat in Stony Point, NY! I leave with Kirsten and Megan Vu on September 29th, the retreatants a.k.a. attendees (other than young team) arrive October 2nd, the retreat's over on the 5th and then I come home on October 8th!
End of Junior Year - thank God!
It's safe to say that I am so majorly happy about the end of junior year. People are right when they say that it is the most stressful and most work. I don't think I have written so many papers and done so much book work in a long time! Thankfully, the end is near with exams ending and summer beginning at 9:30am on Thursday.
Senior Year - it's almost here!
I am cannot believe that my senior year is here and I am ready to take it head on! I am so excited and am not upset at all about it being my last year of high school, solely because it's well...senior year! I'm taking some really good classes too - British Literature Honors / AP Statistics / Journalism II / Social Justice & Christian Adulthood / Peer Counseling I & II / Spanish IV Honors / Economics Honors & Government (in no particular order btw.)
Summer 2006 - *exhales*
I love the summer! Maybe it's because of the lack of school and the joy of relaxation for 2 1/2 months. =) June is going to be concentrated on the yearbook and possibly assisting GP with summer school. July will most likely bring some sort of family vacation. August is well getting ready for senior year w/ my first day of school being Monday, August 14th. Oh and I am contemplating getting a hosting job somewhere this summer. Just a little job to keep me busy this summer! We'll see. Any suggestions of where ya'll?!?
I wish everyone the best on exams! Have a great summer and be safe!

So today was just a day of so many ups and downs.
I woke up this morning feeling like complete crap. Yep, that's right, I might be sick! It's lovely. I'm so excited! Just kidding. Anyway, in other news, Mr. Mullarkey made me write a fricken essay, completely off the cuff today and I was the only one who had to write it. Oh well. We did our spanish presentation today and Senora said that we did realy good so I am happy. After spanish, the day got better. We had elections today and I AM THE NEW SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY VICE PRESIDENT! I am so excited!
I must go. NEW ORLEANS IN LIKE 1 1/2 days!

It's becoming more and more of a reality that my trip to New Orleans is only 4 days away. I leave on Thursday! I am so excited! It is going to be great! Mindy and I are planning all the festivities.
Today holds a lot to do. I have to clean, clean, and wait did I mention clean? Oh and maybe I will do my homework. (I will, no worries!)
I'm going to go be productive...haha yeah right!

It is safe to say that I have posted way too many blogs thanking God for the glorious gift of the weekend! But what can I say, I'm your typical high school student in that respect.
Today was my AP US History exam. I have melancholy feelings about it. The mutiple choice (80 questions in 55 minutes) started off really easy. I knew the first question which made me hopeful and as I continued the questions were still that easy. But then it got harder and harder. I love how the writers of these tests just get your hopes up so much and then make you feel really bad about yourself as they get harder. Oh well, my essays were okay. The second one was really hard but oh well.
Tonight I am going to dinner with Kelly Marie and then most likely going to the revue at school. Unless other plans prohibit me from it. heh.
Oh by the way, HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! Be safe kids!

P.S. - My new favorite phrase to begin sentences is "It's safe to say..." I love it!
So today I had my first article in the St. Pete Times since my completion of my term on the X-Press team last year. It was about the new Adventure Island ride, "Riptide," and I guess I am proud of it. I mean, it's kind of a mundane feature but it was a good starting ground for the next feature that I am currently conjuring up in my head. I just need to get it into actual words for my editor. If you didn't get a chance to read it, click here!
So today I took the AP English Language and Composition Exam. Let's just say it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It actually seemed relatively easy and the essay questions weren't that bad, except for one. I think I did pretty well. Let's see when I get my scores in June! My AP United State History exam is Friday and I am not looking forward to it at all. =( Hey, at least I get out of school early!
So I leave next Thursday for New Orleans! I am so pumped! I just have so much to do!
