Good times

Well, today was the conclusion of an overall good weekend. On Friday, I went out to Chili's and Starbucks with Andrea K, Rachel, and Christine. Our waitress was horrible! She was so fricken rude it wasn't funny. When we went to Starbucks, these 3 guys tried to get a ride from Andrea to the game. They were so weird and we don't even know how they got to Starbucks. Then we headed over to the game which we won! State playoff in 12 days at home! Heck yes! Oh and those guys ended up showing up at the game. Yesterday (Saturday), I went to visit my g'ma in Tampa and then came home for a bit. Then it was time for my birthday present. I got my new cell phone! Oh, and I switched to Cingular now so anyone who has it, we definitely talk for free now! Heck yes! Then I came home for all of 20 minutes and changed. After running around my house like a maniac looking for clothes, I went over to Alexis' house. We (Alexis, Me, and a bunch of other people) had a fiesta with empanadas, tacos, and all this food! It was so tight. So after that, we all piled into Alexis' mom's car, there were 6 of us and it seats 4, and we went putt-putt golfing at Congo River which was always fun. We definitely skipped two holes though because people were so fricken slow. Today, I went to church and then had Katie, Cindy, and Alexis over because I wanted to do something with just the three of them for my birthday. Tomorrow -> School- Wear PINK. Youth Ministry Meeting for Freshman Retreat. Home to change. Alexis' dad's house for a Halloween barbeque. Home to hand out candy! Now, I must go and finish my homework, shower, and go to bed. :: Peace out, Austin ::

Let's get fired up ya'll!

I'm 17!

Wow! Today I turned 17 years old! 7 fricken teen! As of 9:05 pm, I was officially 17. Meaning, I have been 17 for roughly an hour and 25 minutes so far. I don't feel any older at all. Who knows?!? This morning, my mom told me that she was in labor with me for 17 hours! That's crazy dude. I told that to JuJo this morning and she goes "17 hours for 17 years old" Gotta love JuJo! My day was awesome! I had so much fun! Thank you to everyone who made it that much more special! I love you! Amber came to school after school and brought me a card! I love her so much! Then her, MC, and Nicole helped me bring all my stuff to my car (see pics below of my stuff). Nicole and MC started stealing my cupcakes and then MC dropped one of my the cupcakes that Carissa made me! =( But it's all good, they survived! Nicole also got a "concussion" from my car! (Thanks Nicole for reminding me!) While I was out to dinner with my family, Olivia came by my house and dropped off my card and such! I feel so bad because she got so sick last night and she was sick all day and she still came to bring it to me! She is my twin! We are closer than you could ever imagine! I heart her times infinity + 1!

Pictures? Here we go...

My Birthday Baloons, Bags, Cards, and more. Filled with lots of candy, notes of love, and a bunch of other cool stuff. JuJo got me a picture frame and made me the tightest card ever! It is the best! Aww! I am so loved. You can't see the bags but there are about almost a dozen of them!

Oh lord! I am gonna gain 300 pounds! Look at all this food? When I was taking the picture my dad came out and just stared at the food and was like, "I can't believe all these sweets. This is unbelieveable. You have good friends!" I felt loved! I have tons of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, some "Nieman Marcus" cookies from Caroline, my "JuJo Brownies", and Rice Krispie Treats from Julianne! I don't know what I am going to do with all this! *begins to go into deep contemplation* Hmmm...Maybe I should ship some of this food to my starving college student Leah?!? *the contemplation continues*

Well, I am off to bed. Thanks again ya'll! You made my day amazing!

:: Peace out, Austin ::

Oh lord!

Oh Lord! I cannot believe that after tomorrow, I will officially be 17 years old. It's really weird because I remember turning 16, failing my driver's test the first time, driving in the car to school by myself for the first time after I got my license. There are so many memories throughout this past year that I cannot even begin to list them or talk about them. From the gradutation of my senior loves to New York City (my future home) to becoming an official upperclassmen, so many things have happened! Thank you to everyone who has made those memories that much more special. I love ya'll so much! I should go to bed now but I am too busy thinking about tomorrow and watching my Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica Seasons 2 & 3 DVD's. Dang these things are awesome! :: Peace out, Austin ::

Hurricane? What?

Okay, this was no hurricane if you ask me. I woke up around 10am and it was sunny and windy outside. Today was the perfect day. It was cool outside and it reminded me of what the weather should be like during this time of the year. The majority of my morning was spent organizing pictures from Saturday a.k.a. the best day ever! Want to see pictures? [click here] > choose the "Best Day Ever" album. Ahh, they are awesome! After that, I talked on the phone to Lauren. I hadn't had a real conversation with her since about a month ago, so that was good. I ate pizza while I was on the phone too! haha =) Then I decided to go run on the treadmill, and watch last week's episode of Laguna Beach while running. Then I procrastinated on doing my AP US History essay by watching "Score", "TRL", and "Making the Video: Lindsay Lohan- Confessions of a Broken Heart." I'm really into that song now! At the current moment, I just finished my AP US History essay and now am multi-tasking by doing this blog entry, watching my Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica Seasons 2 and 3 DVD, and talking to Lyndsey. Fun! Fun! :: Peace out ya'll, Austin ::

Open House...Hurricanes...etc.

Open House went really well today. A lot of families showed up and saw our escuela! I watched my Baronette chicas perform and watched Caroline, K-Nel, and the rest of the chorus sing their butts off! It was fun! OKay, so now no school tomorrow because of this hurricane. Oh and we are raising 80,000 cans so that we don't have to make up that day! No buts about that! =) Homework time because I refuse to do it on my day off! :: Adios, Austin ::

Ahh...the best day ever!

Yesterday was seriously the best day ever. Nicole, Leah, Steph, Cuatro and I did so much all day, it was amazing. I'll break it down for you... Saturday Morning Market, Atlanta Bread Company, Playing in a fountain with bubbles downtown, Riding the Pier trolley until an angry driver made us get off after one ride, walk to the pier, photo booth madness, fun on the 5th floor, glass elevators, quirky little ecklektic shop called Cherie's, Steph trying on dresses at Ambria's, Putzing around "The Buzz", dancing around in the movie theater waiting for the movie to start, Elizabethtown = the greatest movie ever!, Nicole scaring us in the parking garage, back to 7th ave, funness at the McKee's looking at pictures and gawking at the amazingness of Jenelle's homecoming queen attire, running full speed back to the Laubers because we were late, hardcore traffic on 66th street, Tia's, me running around Tyrone's parking lot trying to find Olivia's car to put a note on it, eating and taking fun pictures at Tia's, bonding with Cuatro, Ryan Ashton, and Sunjin, random visit to Coldstone which was for no reason at all, saying bye to my Leah and my Katie Tawney, me going home early- bleh...don't ask! Look at that amazing day! Pictures are coming soon! =) :: Peace out dawgs, Austin ::

The weekend...finally!

This week seemed to go by so slow but it was a good week. Last night- I went out with Julianne and Jayna to Tropical Smoothie. It was my first time there. Yes, I know that is rediculous but yeah. Needless to say, I have now become a Tropical Smoothie addict. All day today, I was craving a Jetty Punch. It was bad. Julianne and Jayna said they "de-virginized me" and told me that I would become obssesed with it and be there everyday. They were right that's for sure! Then we went and chilled with K-Nel at the JV Football Game. We won against Tampa Catholic, 26-14. That's good. Today - uneventful. I am now working open house on Sunday and my job is to "smoosh parents." I can do that. I'm good a smooshing. "Welcome to St. Pete Catholic. Please take a registration form and we will be with you shortly. Thank you for coming." How is that? I just made it up. I think it's pretty good! =) haha. I won't say that because then I will sound like a flight attendant. Tonight, I am spending some quality family time. Tomorrow - 7th avenue day all day! YEAH BABY! I'm so excited! Let's get fired up ya'll! =) Okay, what the heck is going on with the flippen hurricane? One minute it is going to somewhere else, the next minute it's moved. I am so confused. I hope Open House isn't a complete no showing because of it. =\ We'll see. :: Adios, Austin ::

It was quite the day I must say!

Woah! My blog topic completely rhymes, that's kind of tight. I guess? I'm a dork. Ugh! So today was a pretty good day overall. Today we had the Spanish Brain Bowl for National Spanish Honor Society! I was helping Natalie and Brittany S. greet the schols in front of the Media Center. We were supposed to say !Bienvenidos!- spanish for "Welcome." Well I decided to scream it at the kids when they were just getting out of their cars! It was definitely classic! So okay, Holy crap! The spanish teachers from other feeder schools are insane! The Brain Bowl is a competition between about 5 feeder schools and the schools are a team and are asked questions regarding everyday knowledge in Spanish. For the past about 4 years, we have used the same questions over and over, so the teachers from the schools decide to write down the questions. Well this year, we switched it up with a whole new set of questions. Well, you would have thought that the world came crumbling down. The teachers were freaking out because they weren't the same. The students had studied last years questions and were preparing for this like crazy! The St. Jude's kids had a packet of stuff to study! But the teachers still wrote down the questions anyway and the NSHS decided that next year's questions will be brand new and a lot harder. I mean one of the questions was, "What color is the sky when it is sunny?" The answers we got: Red and Green. What the heck? OKay, well I just rambled on for an hour. I Am Me = in stores today baby! 6:30a.m. Wal*Mart run = Success! That's how we do kids! :: Adios chicos, Austin ::

It's Sunday...ugh!

I don't like Sundays. They say it's the "day of rest" but I'm definitely doing stuff like homework and cleaning, so there is no resting going on. Except for the nap that I may take in a few minutes. Sundays are also a day of procrastination. Right now, I don't feel like doing any of my homework. Then again, I don't have that much at all. I could probably be done with it in about 45 minutes, but I'm just being lazy. I don't feel too good, so maybe I should go take a nap! =) We'll see how the rest of the day pans out... :: Austin ::

Why am I tired?

For some reason, I am really tired. Then again, I did wake up at around 8am today. Ugh! Oh well. Yesterday, I went shopping with Nicole and Steph McKee! It was tons of fun. I was running around American Eagle like a maniac trying on about 10 shirts. Then Nicole and I went to Target for some DVD shopping. We decided that we are going to chill more often for sure! Last night, Olivia and I went to the football game and left in the beginning of the third quarter around 8:55. The game was kind of depressing because everyone that was there left. =\ We won though- 21 to 7, which makes us 5 and 3 for our record this season. After we left the game, we went to Olivia's house to get some stuff and then made a late night Wendy's run that turned out to be crap. Wendy's sucks! Honestly! Our order was so messed up! Ugh! Then we just sat around and watched the "The Ashlee Simpson Show" marathon that was on. =) Today, Olivia and I decided to get something to eat at Panera which turned out being a bust. Our food wasn't as good as it usually is. Oh well. Then we decided to go to that place, Plato's Closet. That was interesting. Everything there is so worn and stretched out. I don't recommend a trip there. Then we came back here and watched Will & Grace and that Melissa Joan Hart movie, "Drive Me Crazy." That movie is sooo old! Later, I am meeting up with Michelle at Starbucks for some catching up since I haven't seen her since July! It should be fun! I don't know what I am doing tonight. Alexis and a bunch of people are going to the movies but I really don't feel like going to the movies. I have a lot of cleaning to do though! Who knows?!? Anyone want to do something? Call the cell asap! :: Peace out, Austin ::

Ahh...the weekend.

So, I guess techincally it is the weekend now. I'm definitely happy for the day off tomorrow! Let's see what the plans look like... Tonight- Cleaning my closet. (Oh, it's bad!) Friday (tomorrow)- Chillin with Nicole. Football Game? Saturday- Not sure yet. I need to wash the dog for sure. I have a pretty good amount of homework to do. Possibly seeing Michelle if I don't see her on Friday. Sunday- Church and Homework. The usual Sunday. We'll see how it all pans out! :: Peace Out, Austin ::

Today was a good day. We had the PSATs in the morning, kind of easy, which is a good thing because this test will tell me how well I will do on the SATs. Our school is so dumb when it comes to dismissal. They look about 20 minutes before dismissing us, which is dumb because we were all just sitting there looking through Julianne's Seventeen magazine. Oh well. We got out at about 11:45, which is good. After school, I dropped my sister and her friends off at the mall, ran home real quick to change, and then got some Wendy's on the way to my haircut. The haircut was good. I used to go to this salon place but then she also cuts hair at her house and it's just more convienient there, so I go to her house. We talk on the phone and stuff and have become friends which is tight. Now, I'm going to finish this Mullarkey essay, that I am hopefully going to finish before 'Score' starts. :: Wish me luck, Austin ::

A long day...

Today seemed to be one of those days that just drag on and on. I only went to 4 classes today because we had an in-school yearbook field trip. After that, I had a NSHS meeting and then decided to come home. I didn't get to sleep last night till about 1:30 this morning. Ugh! It sucks for someone like me, who wakes up at um...5:15a.m. I'm off to go watch the best show ever! =) I'll probably post by the end of the night. :: Adios, Austin ::

Happy 17th Birthday Olivia!

"Are we hot or what?"
This post goes out to my best friend in the entire world, my twin for life, Olivia. She is the closest person that I have in my life and is someone that I could never live without.
This is what her car looked like after I was done with it... =)

Isn't it cute? She loved it which made my day! =) There were 17 balloons, (6 pink, 6 purple, 5 white) but I let go of 2 purples and then another purple one popped, so there were only 14.

The massive sugar cookie cake. Sugar cookies are her favorite thing ever and I got her a cake made out of one. We have a lot of nicknames for each other, for example she is Pooks and I am Puka, as you can see on the cake. Where the nicknames came from is a long story, obviously. I tried to keep the colors (pink, purple, and white) similar as you can see on the cake and her car.

Gosh, I love this girl!

Birthdays and Make-Up Work

Tomorrow is my best friend ever, Olivia's 17th birthday! I have some things planned, so I hope everything works out and on time. I'm going over to her g'ma's house tonight for dinner which is cool. I hate being sick. I mean, who likes being sick? The thing that comes with being sick is make up work. I don't have that much thankfully but it is still the fact that I have to do it that I hate. Okay, now it's time for me to wash the dog and run errands! :: Peace dawgs, Austin ::

Thankful yet relieved?

I'm done. I didn't know that I would feel a sense of relief once I shook my assistant managers hand as an employee for the last time. Once I walked out, I felt "free" in a way, if that makes sense at all. I liked my job a lot. There are minor things that I would change but overall, I had a lot of fun and I was treated really well. There are some things that I will miss, but it's all good. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity. I am thankful yet relieved. That sounds kind of bad because when you are thankful it's for good things but when you are relieved its from something bad. Well, nothing really bad happened, I just felt relieved, and I am thankful because someone gave me a shot at a job. Does this make sense? Let me know- you should comment!!! haha =) :: Adios, Austin ::

Last day!

Okay ya'll, so today is my last day at my job at Sports Fan-Attic. There was just no way I could keep a job, do school, do Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook, do Christian Formation Team for Youth Ministry, take the SATs and ACTs, volunteer, and worry about other stuff. Some people can do it. To those people, I praise you, you are Superman/woman! I work from 11-4, which is a usual Saturday shift for me. After work, who knows?!? I really want to do something with my best friend, Lauren, because we haven't done anything in months! It's sad that we don't see each other more, but we do what we can do. We'll see what plans end up being planned! I'm going to go get ready for work. The last time I will have to do this! :: Adios mis amigos, Austin ::

My Crazy Antics

After a talk today with my friend, Lyndsey, while feeling quite lightheaded from staring at the computer screen too long on all the meds I am taking, I realized a good point. Some of my crazy antics, the positive ones of course, are rubbing off on people. Okay, I only have one example of this, but here me out... About two months ago (believe it or not), I was introduced to the fact that Wal*Mart is open 24 hours. Yes, you are probably saying, "how is this possible, has he been living under a rock his entire life?", but yes I didn't know that it was open 24 hours. Thanks to Leah and Nicole for introducing me to this fact. Anyway, I talked to my dear friend Kelly Marie and she mentioned that her friend used to go to Wal*Mart before school and buy the cd's came out that Tuesday. Now at the time, I had a countdown going until the new Ryan Cabrera album, and instantly an idea popped into my head. I was going to leave my house at 6:30am, go to Wal*Mart, buy the CD, go to Starbucks, and then go to school. It was a brilliant plan. I even talked my sister into leaving that early with the bribe of the caffinated beverages we love from Starbucks. Anyway, so my plan was a success, I bought the beautiful CD and of course, the CD is amazing! Well, Lyndsey did the same with buying the Franz Ferdinand CD. I feel proud that something I did, whether it be crazy or not, actually had some sort of positive affect on someone else. That someone else being a music lover like myself. I hope I will have more examples soon. Whether they be about music or not anything will do. I guess I'm not crazy after all. Or am I? :: G'Night ya'll, Austin ::

This entry is the most contact that I have had with the world for the past two days. I'm getting somewhat better but am still really sick. This is also the longest I have been able sit up since I got sick. I don't know how I got it but I did and it sucks. For the past couples days I have lived off of crackers, water, cold meds, advil. Except for today when my body let me have soup, which is the most food I have eaten yet. Ahh! It sucks!I'll be back at school tomorrow. :: Stay healthy ya'll, Austin ::
